Day(s) of rest.

If you follow me on facebook or Twitter, then you know that recently there was a death in my extended family. I met her maybe 2 or 3 times, so I didn’t really know her. She shared a home with her son and she helped him manage finances. (He’s a special needs adult.)

Now that she’s gone, my mother-in-law (whom I love) is trying to help him with bills and knowing when to pay what. There’s just one problem: His mom was a hoarder. She never threw any bills or receipts away. o_O

Today we went to her house to start sorting through the bills and old statements. There were four of us and we could only work for three and a half hours. In that time we filled 3 HUGE trash bags with junk mail and shredded paper. Unfortunately, you can barely tell that we did anything at all. >_< This will likely be an extended project spanning several weeks, if not months.

That’s super-draining item #1. Number 2 is something that I’ve only lightly discussed on facebook and Twitter.

A little under two months ago I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. Luckily it hasn’t been too bad until recently. Now, for the last 13 days I’ve had intermittent (and intense) bursts of muscle pain. I’ve been reading online and trying to learn what I can, and it seems that I need to learn to pace myself and not get overly tired. (Whoops.)

Here’s my current plan in regards to Free2WinGames.com. I love this blog and all of the wonderful people I’ve met, and I have NO intention of quitting. ^_^ But I also need to take care of myself. So I’m going to allow myself some flexibility. Instead of being locked in to three game guides a week, I may do two. Over a month ago I made a schedule to cover 12 game sites each month. I’m going to keep the schedule, but instead of breaking it into one week at a time, I will tackle each site one at a time. This will ease some of the pressure. Unfortunately, this also means that the posting schedule may become a little erratic, and I apologize for that.

I’m pretty dang tired right now, so this will be a 2-post week. One guide will go up on Tuesday (definitely!) and a 2nd will be up either Thursday or Friday.
